We are looking forward to seeing you on Saturday, May 2, at Chute Middle School.
Join your local community between 12:30 pm and 3:00 pm to:
Get educated about what has happened – and is still happening – in our community
Get motivated by the work being done in our community to fight for justice
Get activated by connecting with neighbors and finding your role in the work being done to demonstrate that “Neighbor” is a verb!
This will be a space to come together as neighbors in community, learn new ways to support one another and dare ourselves to move our dreams of a stronger Evanston into action.
Whether you have been actively involved in Sanctuary Evanston for months, or filled out a form long ago and haven’t gotten connected yet, we want to gather in community with YOU!

El sábado 2 de mayo, de 12:30 p.m. a 3:00 p.m., únase a su comunidad local que trabaja por la justicia. En este evento, usted podrá:

No importa si ha participado activamente en Sanctuary Evanston por meses, o si hace tiempo desde que haya completado nuestro formulario y aún no ha podido conectarse, ¡Queremos reunirnos en comunidad con USTED!

During the Engagement Expo, there will be folks ready to connect on many topics and in hands-on ways:
Sign up to get alerts on ICE activity in our community
Learn how to use Signal, the app we use for communications, and what to do if you encounter ICE
Join your local School Patrol Team or Adopt a Laborer Corner team
Create Resistance Art - through music and a community art build
Support our community: Through Community Fridges, the 611 Free Store, and mutual aid networks
Make sandwiches for the community fridges – here and now
Pack whistle kits
